You are writing a project proposal for the Ministry of Social Affairs and
Labour of Kuwait. They need to approve and finance the start of your
charity. The following categories are used for your proposal.

I. Letter of transmittal – a type of a cover letter in which the author of the proposal
briefly introduces it to the audience.
II. Name of Organization – Come up with a name for your charity. Explain how
you came up with it and what was your inspiration.
III. Project Summary – this section provides all the most important details about
your charity. It is recommended that you write this part once you finish
everything as it will give you the best perception of your charity

IV. Information on the Organization
1. Purpose of the Organization – give a brief description of what you are planning
to do and how. Include as many specific details as possible.
2. Location and Hours of Operation – show and explain the location of your
office(s), place(s) of operation/ working unit(s) or any premise or facility you
plan to use for your work. Also, explain your working hours.
3. Supplies and Equipment – be specific about things you need in your work and
for your work. This includes, but not limited to: office furniture and supplies,
various machines, tools, hardware and software, vehicles and so on. Each item
in thissection should have a specific quantity and price, so I suggest you prepare
a table.
4. Advertising – explain how are going to use media (written, video, social,
etc) to show the public that you exist.
5. Public Relations – explain how you are planning to draw attention and
funding. Hint: fundraisers, charity nights, donor conventions, etc.
