The Sistine Chapel ceiling was painted by Michelangelo (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michelangelo)
between 1508 and 1512. This is an incredible feat, as fresco is a time-intensive process and he
completed this work–70 from the floor– painting from a scaffold lying on his back. He completed this
work by himself, and he was a sculptor; he didn’t even like painting.

the way that he did. What is included? What is left out? Has the artist exaggerated anything? Why? In
what ways are the figures not entirely naturalistic? Using the Feldman Method, analyze and interpret
your image.
